Job Description

Are you a personal injury lawyer looking to make difference in your work and to be part of a supportive team environment? We have a unique opportunity to work with high calibre and trauma informed clients, assisting our team investigate and resolve abuse claims for defendants, primarily in the educational context. In our team you will develop a thorough understanding of this developing area of law with the support of experienced practitioners and our vicarious trauma program. You will have direct exposure to our clients and the opportunity to be hands on in the litigation and resolution process.

We take pride in the work we do and are conscious that how we approach matters can make a difference to survivors of abuse. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Your portfolio of work would include not only abuse law claims, but other matters in an area of your expertise and interest. We have a busy and diverse practice that is growing and there are opportunities to get involved in other areas of personal injury, professional indemnity and workplace law, depending on your expertise or preferred areas.   

Desired Skills and Experience

Who are you?

  • A minimum of 3+ years' post admission experience in personal injury litigation, with experience in abuse law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work at pace.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously.
  • Practical and client focused in solving problems
