Why the role
We are preparing our capacity and capability to meet the needs of our ongoing client demand. This provides a fantastic opportunity to advance the career of a 1-2 year PAE insurance practitioner to support the work of our dynamic Melbourne team.
This role is for an Lawyer who is looking to improve on their experience as they progress in a supportive environment to consolidate their skills as they continue towards a more senior role within the practice.
What is the opportunity?
This opportunity involves working directly with our Principal, Ingrid Nunnink.
Ingrid’s practice includes defending health practitioners and health/aged care service providers as well as public liability claims (including abuse law, catastrophic injuries, psychiatric injury, , coronial matters).
Desired Skills and Experience
Who are you?
Around 1-2 years post admission.
Preferably experienced in insurance law, including liability, personal injury, and willing to work on institutional sexual abuse claims.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience
Self-motivated and able to work at pace
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
Practical and client focused in solving problems
A team player who can collaborate on work and has the skills to coach, mentor and develop junior staff and gains satisfaction from seeing them succeed
