Job Description

Why the role?

 

We are preparing our capacity and capability to meet the needs of our growing team and ongoing client demand. This provides a fantastic opportunity to advance the career of a 3-5 years PAE insurance practitioner to support the work of our Melbourne team and national practice.  You’ll be exposed to a variety of high-quality litigation involving a blend of personal injury and property damage claims in the general liability space as well as professional indemnity.

 

This role is for an Associate looking to improve on their experience as they progress and continue toward more senior roles within the practice.

Desired Skills and Experience

Who are you?

 

  • Around 3-5 years post admission
  • Experience in insurance law, including public liability (personal injury and property damage), professional indemnity and recovery claims
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience
  • Self-motivated and able to work at pace
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
  • Practical and client focused in solving problems
  • Previous exposure to business development with a natural ability to cultivate quality relationships with our industry leading clients
  • A team player who can collaborate on work and has the skills to coach, mentor and develop junior staff and gains satisfaction from seeing them succeed
