To meet the needs of our growing firm, a fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a Paralegal (full time or part-time) to join our Perth team. You will be exposed to a variety of insurance matters with a focus on General Liability, Workplace and Professional Indemnity – financial lines, management liability matters.
As a paralegal, your duties will include:
Attending the Perth office to assist with management of general liability, workplace and professional indemnity matters, especially preparing briefs to experts and managing discovery of documents and case management.
Review, draft and file documents including court documents, chronologies, witness statements, agreements, and correspondence.
Review of medical records, taxation documents and other documents relevant to the matter to prepare chronologies and summaries of the evidence.
Ensuring your work is delivered on time, is tailored to the matter and the relevant issues.
File management, including diarising and monitoring client deadlines, court timetables/orders, and other important dates.
Assisting with preparation of routine reports.
Assisting in managing communications with clients.

Relevant prior experience and qualifications are desirable
Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and time management skills to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent writing skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise documents.
You’re self-motivated, able to work at pace and hungry to solve problems and cultivate quality relationships with clients
You have great people skills and an ability to work well in a team environment
